When I finished Fallen Too Far I was scouring the internet to see if the next book had been released. I downloaded it on my Kindle that night and finished the entire thing until it was the wee hours of the morning. After finishing the entire series I’ve got to say Never Too Far is my favorite book out of the Fallen Too Far series. We are introduced to new characters and a the storyline this entire book is the perfect backdrop for the development of characters.

Blaire was a unsure individual in the first book, in Never Too Far she really comes into her own. She has seen the repercussions of trusting those around her, and now she has someone to protect more than herself. She has come to realize that she comes before her big epic love story, and it’s a beautiful sight. I love the way that Abbi Glines has written her character, it’s a gentle push to badassery.
I want to say that Blaire’s entire character arc has been reached in this book, she has finally become what her mama wanted her to be.

“But I don’t fit. Your family hates me. I make your life difficult.” That’s where she was wrong. “No, You’re my family. And as for making my life difficult, you, Blaire Wynn, make my life complete.”

Rush on the other hand…He still has lots to learn. In this book it’s especially made clear that he’s trying to make Blaire his priority but he does take her for granted at times. I would not have had the patience that Blaire had, but her patience worked everything out. He definitely is learning his ways, although Rush is suppose to be this badass it’s interesting to see how naive he is when it comes to his family.

“Listen to me, Blaire. If you try to go anywhere I will chase you down. I will become your shadow.”

We are introduced to more characters from Blaire’s past, we are introduced to a humanized version of Woods – so cute, and Jimmy doing Jimmy things is always a treat. I love the heaviness of the book, but it’s littered with lighthearted moments and characters which is always the perfect balance. It keeps the reader extremely engaged.

I know the entire book is littered with cliches and could be described as a telenovela, but in my opinion I believe it just adds to its charm.

Review – 5/5
