This is one of those brands that hides in plain sight. With their intricate, minimal embroidery the Gopi Vaid du0 -Arnaz and Gopi- have created a name for themselves in the Indian fashion industry. Their have a signature style that will never go out of fashion, not to mention flattering on multiple body types. Elegant, classy, and eletheral all describe the brand well.
Arnaz and Gopi design with a woman’s delicacy in mind.

You ever see a saree and wonder who made it? It’s probably a Gopi Void design. Some of the most beautiful sarees out there. Like I said they skirts under the radar quite a bit.
They create these signature drapes separators and somehow it gives the saree more structure and adds to the femininity. The actual saree fabric apart from the tiers is pretty minimal, the blouse balances everything perfectly.
The blouses have a mixture of mirror work, embroidery, patterns or some beautiful threadworm. The fitting is always perfection and immediately after the eye catches the saree the eyes never leave the blouse.

I know it isn’t going to be the most affordable option but when it comes to Kurtthas or casual wear Gopi Void creates beautiful cotton pieces. They are perfect for the hot summer days and while being incredibly comfortable they give off the vibes of being formally put together. Not to mention they are not necessarily meant to be completely fitted so of course they will flatter multiple silhouettes.
Each piece has that signature sectioning, I love it on sharers as much as on sarees. What really makes a Gopi Void design is the touch of mirrors. It may be subtle and and accent design, or it may be front and centre, either way it creates beautiful elegance. Mirrors when done well are absolutely stunning. That’s one thing that can be expected from Arnaz and Gopi: consistency.

I won’t say that Arnaz and Gopi are the only designers doing what they’re doing in the Indian fashion industry, but what they do they do extremely well. The pieces have a certain comfort to them, clean lines, intricate patterns, and all with a backdrop of vivd soft colors.
The price tag is pretty up there, but for pieces like the sectioned sarees it definitely is worth it to me. I personally would love to invest in one of those sarees to wear to any occasion. The versatility all depends on how anyone styles them, which gives great creative freedom.
It may not be revolutionary, but it is traditional with a flare of modernism.
