One of the best romance series/universe up to date is definitely set in Rosemary beach. If you haven’t read this first book, please do. I promise it will get you hooked to the whole universe. Abbi Glines is a gifted writer, she hooks the reader in immediately and creates these twists and turned which all are nicely wrapped up with a little bow at the end of it all.

We meet Blaire, this blonde bombshell. She’s an outsider – like all of us – to the Rosewood Beach world. Everything is a mess for Blaire: back home, new town, new people and for some reason she’s hated by people she thought were family.

But Blaire is hella resilient, Blaire is a badass, Blaire is a character that we will always root for. She’e feminine with edges

“He wasn’t what sent me running. He was what had made me want to stay.” 

Incomes Rush. Rush is a rich playboy with an unexplained hate boner for Blaire. He treats her like absolute trash until he realizes she’s just a person living her life.

Rush has this amazing character arc in just this first book alone, and let’s not forget the man does not at all disappoint with his scene in bed – or outside of it for that matter.

“Because I’ve had a taste and I’m not sharing. This isn’t just for fun. I may be slightly addicted.” 

Rush has this crazy group of friends and family that we are slowly made familiar with. This intricate web of people that we are introduced to are all moving chess pieces & Abbi has done an excellent job at navigating it all.

It’s a well written romance for a pretty non-fairytale story. It makes you feel the effort both Rush and Blaire put into making it work. You just know they’re meant to be.
