She’s my favourite character. Tremendous growth yet still true to herself. Girl has been broken and fallen so many times but she keeps on getting up. For herself. Not a man, not her family, but for herself.

She was the first one to attempt to make Schitt’s creek her new home regardless of the circumstances (despite initially trying to run away).

She’s moving places for the entirety of her life, cuz that’s just who she is. But she’ll make the effort to make anywhere her world.

Kudos to the actress, the name David conveys sooo so much, equivalent to some drawn out monologue.

Alexis is always underestimated and yet supersedes and comes out on top.

I know this is going to come across as a ‘not like the other girls’ kinda post… but like.. I don’t cry. At least not recently I don’t. I just despise it and refuse to do so.

But I just finished the very last episode and my eyes are swollen shut from the amount of sobbing I just did from that wedding episode. David is me. He’s sarcastic. He’s witty. He’s funny. He’s trying his best. And he’s mad damaged.

When he first had the balls to say ‘I love you’ to Patrick fuck did I feel his vulnerability. Like here’s my heart and god knows if you’ll snap it in half or not but here it is anyways. That takes mad courage. And when Patrick proposed with those David-esque rings, when David played baseball. They just got it right.

What the fuck is this show?! Why is it so good!!

I think a lot of us when we started this television show had no idea what we were in for. Most of us thought, oh another sitcom. But that’s not what happened. What really made the show 100% was the character, their rich entitled personalities learning how to live in the real world. And the best caveat? They learned it’s so much better to have values and character vs whatever shallow lives they lived before.

Schitt’s Creek easily has become one of my top favorite shows I’ve ever watched. Replay value is infinite, you would probably learn something new about the case every time you watch it. It’s hilarious, dramatic, and a little bit Alexis. The fact that it’s produced by a Canadian network makes me all more proud.

What a great project that turned into a phenomenon!
