Frontier Raas has come such a long way over the years. It has been around for years now and has maintained it’s spot in the Indian Fashion Industry. The designs now are so intricate and versatile the wait was worth it. Of course there are still pieces that seem a little undercooked so to speak, but then on the other end of the spectrum the sequining and embroidery is exquisite.
With traditional, classic sillouettes, they play the crap out of colors. All in a good way. It compliments the individual wearing the outfit and immediately attracts the eye. They have dainty feminine clothing as well as bold statement pieces.

Now Frontier Raas does what they do very well, but that’s not to say that they aren’t replaceable. They do have a niche in the fashion industry that is pretty jam packed with designers these days – at least when it comes to sequencing and embroidery. What does set them apart is when they play with prints. One of my favourite aspects is the little stories or landscapes they may create on their clothing – now of course other brands do this as well, but I feel Frontier Raas has a little bit of an edge with the way they create.
Creativity occasionally starts seeming through their clothing and it’s palpable. They add ornaments and borders that are so playful and rarely gaudy. The sequencing is so delicate and feminine, and the embroidery is always so detailed and massive in amounts.

Frontier Raas does occasionally have a tendency to get repetitive, at least when it comes to their bridal collections. But when they start playing around with fabrics and textures they come out with beautiful designs. Their more second tier lenghas are absolutely stunning and all so different and versatile.
The silhouettes are pretty standard, not that that’s a bad thing. Sometimes the class way is much better than to go in a bad experimental way. Their clothing is wearable across generations and in my opinion thats always a win.

I’m a sucker for all shades rust, mustard, oranges, and browns. Frontier Raas is one of the few ethnic brands that seem to love it as much as me!
It’s not a huge celebrity attraction at the moment, but I see it getting bigger and bigger in the coming years. They might take a trajectory into costume designing, which in my opinion they would be so good at it. I’m guessing at this point they are just making ensembles for their current clientele.
Frontier Raas has probably one of the most easiest ethnic clothing websites out there. It’s so easy to navigate, they even offer customizations – which is usually not the case in bridal collections. I have pieces I love but then there are also pieces where I’m not intrigued. They have been around since way before I was born, and definitely have changed with the times. Have they changed enough? I’ll leave that questions unto you.
Overall a brand that has maintained its longevity and there’s something to be said for that!
